Our company, Total Concept Security Pty Limited (TCS) is a Gold Corporate Member of the Australian Security Industry Association Limited (ASIAL). We also hold a current Security Master Licence issued by the New South Wales Police Force in accordance with the Security Industry Act, 1997.
All our employees are fully qualified, ASIAL registered and licensed security technicians and are holders of current ACMA Cabling licenses, along with other major certifications and accreditations.
Total Concept Security strives to be one of the best electronic security installation companies in the security industry. We are specialist integrators, specialising in high-end integrated electronic security systems.
In order to achieve this, we have written and implemented our own installation standards, titled ‘Total Concept Security Installation Standards’ which incorporates AS/NZS 2201, to which all our employees study and adhere.
Total Concept Security operates according to its own performance criteria and installation standards, incorporated with the use of high-quality equipment. Our installation standards go beyond the realms of the Australian & New Zealand Security Standards AS/NZS 2201.
All our installations not only conform to Australian Standards, it is also company policy that only ACMA approved components and cabling are used.
Due to the vast knowledge, reputation and experience of our technicians, one of our Company Directors was nominated to take part and has become an active member of the Australian Standards Committee responsible for rewriting the Australian & New Zealand Security Installation Standards AS/NZS 2201.
Our company specialises in the installation, integration, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of medium to large security systems and projects. The majority of projects undertaken by our company are construction projects working with a vast number of builders and electrical contractors.
We were recently the subject of a random audit by the ACMA, where they randomly inspected one of our medium commercial security installations. This project was a 37,000m2 factory plus office which incorporated an integrated security access control and alarm system with CCTV and intercom system. The ACMA representative/inspector was extremely impressed with the level and quality of the workmanship, highly commending our employees.
As part of our Quality Management System, we have obtained ASIAL Corporate Compliance Certification in accordance with the Security Industry Act, 1997, which is further recognition of our high standard of business operations.
We have a New South Wales Government Accredited Occupational Health Safety & Rehabilitation Management System in place which conforms to the NSW Government OHS&R Management Systems guidelines and forms part of our OH&S Quality Assurance and Certifications. If required a copy of our OHS&R manual along with our NSW Government accreditation certificate can be produced for your perusal.
As part of our commitment to our clients, our employees are holders of current First Aid Certificates and all Site Supervisors are qualified OH&S Supervisors and Managers.
In order to ensure the safety of our staff, clients and members of the general public, our employees are holders of WorkCover approved OH&S Green/White Cards and all Site Supervisors and Managers are WorkCover trained OH&S Supervisors and Managers.
We have substantially implemented a Quality Management System in accordance with AS/NZ ISO 9001:2000 which is currently being accredited. If required a copy of our QA Manual can be submitted for your inspection.
We have developed and implemented an Environmental Management Plan to address the relevant elements regarding New South Wales Government Environmental System Guidelines 2nd Edition, April 2007 and Australian Standards AS/NZS 14001:2004.
Our company is an InnerRange Accredited Dealer, employing InnerRange trained and certified Advanced Technicians who are also accredited in InnerRange Concept & Integriti System Management Software, including but not limited to AcceptNet, Insight & Integriti Professional.
Inner Range Advanced Insight & Integriti Endorsed Technician is the highest level of accreditation currently available for the Australian designed and manufactured InnerRange Concept 4000 systems.
We also employ technicians who have been trained in the installation and commissioning of the Clipsal C-Bus2 Lighting and Push Controls Automation Systems. This gives our technicians the advantage of high-level integration with Smart Homes utilising the C-Bus system with the InnerRange Concept 4000 and Integriti systems.
We have also been involved in the setting up of a number of smart home systems which incorporates high-level automation with C-Bus, Dynalite along with AMX, Crestron and Push Controls.
We also employ trained and certified Tecom Challenger technicians who are proficient in the installation and commissioning of all Tecom Challenger security and access control systems. Our technicians are also certified with the installation, use and training of the Titan and Security Commander System management software.
We are a BPT and Came’ certified partner, as our company technicians have been trained in the installation, commissioning, maintenance and support of the following systems;
• BPT Intercommunication system
• Came’ Automated Parking and Gate system
• Urbaco Bollard system
We recently won a high-security government project with required us to install the Urbaco Pneumatic Bollard system. As a result, an Urbaco Engineer flew from Europe and personally trained our staff.
Our company and employees are the only technicians trained and certified in the design, installation and maintenance of the Urbaco Hydraulic and Pneumatic Bollard systems in Australia.
As a certified partner, we have the complete technical backing and support of BPT Asia Pacific and Came’ Australia.
Milestone, Genetec, Axis Communications and HIKVision are the world leaders in IP CCTV systems. As a Genetec and Axis Communications Authorised Gold partner, our company employs certified Genetec Security Centre and Axis Communications trained technicians. This certification ensures that our company is proficient and certified to supply, install, service and maintain Enterprise level systems, such as, Genetec and Milestone IP CCTV systems of any scale.
We are also a Sony Silver partner and HIKVision Platinum partner.
HIKVision is the world’s largest CCTV manufacturer and as a platinum partner, we have direct access to HIKvision Engineers in Australia for training and technical support. All of our staff are HIKVision trained and certified.
Total Concept Security provides a two (2) year workmanship warranty on equipment and cabling installed by our trained and accredited technicians.
Our company specialises mainly in large commercial systems which incorporate Security, Access and Lift Control, Closed Circuit TV systems, Building Automation, Power Management and Plant Monitoring with the use of the InnerRange Integriti, Concept 4000 and Tecom Challenger panels on a day to day basis.
We have also adapted the InnerRange and Tecom Challenger panels for use on construction sites as a Mobile Emergency First Aid Call Point System, utilising high powered Innovonics wireless transmitters.
It is company policy that prior to commencing work on any of our major projects our Project Manager in the company with our Site Foreman, will perform a Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and submit a Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) along with Safe Work Instructions (SWI) in accordance with our OHS&R Manuals.
Due to our knowledge and experience with the InnerRange Concept systems, our company continues to be involved with the Beta/pre-production testing of InnerRange Concept, Integriti and Inception products prior to being released for sale.
On occasions, we do install small domestic systems of which our technicians are also trained, We install, commission and service all major systems including and not limited to the InnerRange Concept, Bosch/EDM Solution systems, Paradox, DSC, NESS and the Hills NX panels.
Total Concept Security carries all necessary insurances, including $20 million in Public Liability and Workers Compensation.
We also employ staff who are Test and Tag certified. This ensures that all our company electrical equipment, including power tools and charges are checked and tagged on a monthly basis and recorded in our Electrical Lead and Tool Register.
All of our Installation and Programming manuals along with our Quality Assurance, OHS&R and Policy Manuals, including Wiring Rules, Standards, BCA, Job Files and Registers are all maintained and kept up to date. Access to these documents is made readily available to all staff.
